The careers team can provide individual career advice to help students with their planning and on a range of topics including:

• general decision making
• career planning
• CV writing
• job search strategies
• interview practice
• work experience options
• organising career events (e.g. careers evenings, trips to career expos)
• working with teaching and guidance staff -Simon Field, Guidance Counsellor, telephone 03 5483099 ext 716, and Mark Dunstan, Guidance Counsellor, telephone 03 5483099 ext 848
• compiling student reports for other agencies (e.g. university hostels).

The Careers Office is located at the top of the first flight of stairs by the entrance to the hall. Students and parents are encouraged to contact the careers team to discuss career issues on an individual basis. Students can collect an appointment slip from the office foyer. There is also an extensive resource library for students to browse.
