Built in 1963 and officially opened in June 1964, Fell House is named after three members of the Fell family: Alfred Fell, one of the original trustees, CY Fell, (Alfred's son)  a member of the Council of Governors for 45 years and CR Fell who also served on the Council of Governors for 34 years.
